The hurricane, named Daniel, has recently been downgraded to a subtropical storm but is still predicted to have severe effects on Libya. Daniel had swept across Greece, Bulgaria, and Turkey leaving behind a trail of destruction. The storm is said to have been hovering over the Mediterranean Sea for close to a week, becoming a tropical-like depression.
