Freight Masters Driving Institute is a newly established Ghanaian company set to revolutionize the art of driving in the country.
The school is expected to be launched after which it will commence operations in the first week of September.
This was revealed by Dr. Richard Nana Amoako, the Executive Director of Freight Masters Driving Institute, a subsidiary of Freight Masters Shipping Company Limited.
The objective of setting up the school is to introduce a robust form of training in defensive driving and to enlighten trainees on their responsibility while on the road.
The training will also equip students with the requisite knowledge and skills in ensuring safety on our roads, including mastering the various road signs.
Dr. Amoako revealed that, in giving back to the society, he wants his outfit to train individuals to cultivate the habit of driving safely and be responsible in bringing sanity on our roads.
Dr. Richard Nana Amoako“This is not business as usual, we felt that establishing our own driving school is our best bet for training defensive drivers who will bring sanity on our roads,’’ Dr. Amoako explained.
The training is categorized into various divisions, including premium and standard services, online training, mobile training, pick up services among others.
Dr. Amoako added that, the school is fully certified and DVLA has approved the courses and instructors with a package for students and a special incentive for National Service personnel.
“Students will be imbibed with high level of discipline,” he stressed.
With luxurious cars, the three (3) branches are located in Ashaley Botwe-School Junction, Ashaley Botwe, inside Fidelity Bank building and Tema Community 5 & 25 mall.
Students will undergo an intensive training, both theoretical and practical within a period of three (3) months and receive a driver’s license upon successful completion.
The entire syllabus will be translated for those who do not know how to read and write.
Freight Masters Driving School Institute is expected to be in all 16 regions of Ghana.
Dr. Nana Amoako admonished road users to drive safely to protect lives and properties. According to him, his outfit will collaborate with road safety agencies to engage in road safety campaigns and public education and awareness.
The National Road Safety Commission (NRSC) is a Ghanaian state agency responsible for road safety education in Ghana. The Act mandates the Commission to play the lead role in championing, promoting and coordinating road safety activities in Ghana.
